Foundation of Rainbow Society:
The Society was conceived at
SANGEETAYAN, Agarwal College, Jaipur,
under the inspiration and guidance of Professor Dr. G. K. Singhal

A group of seven friends came together with a shared vision to establish “Rainbow Society” as a dedicated platform for MIME theatre and as a meaningful initiative to enrich the social and creative lives of children with special needs through the performing arts.
The Society was formally registered on
21st November 1995 under the Rajasthan Institution Registration Act, 1958, bearing Registration No. 375/JPR/95–96. With the constant support of the Ministry of Culture.

Under the patronage of our mentor Niranjan Goswami (Padma Shri awardee), and our esteemed patrons Mohammed Salim Bhati, Kamal Jain, Abdul Hameed Bhati, and Shri Rajendra Dadhich, the organization has steadily advanced toward greater heights in cultural preservation and artistic excellence.
We remain dedicated to mime, and inclusive theatre, nurturing creativity, self-expression, and meaningful social engagement across diverse communities.
